The National Weather Service has issued an Extreme Heat Warning for LA County through Saturday, August 23, 2025. We are taking extra precautions to protect students, including limiting outdoor activities, ensuring cooling units are in place, and encouraging hydration, sun protection, and breathable clothing.
In addition, the air quality in parts of West San Fernando Valley and the San Gabriel Mountains will be "unhealthy for sensitive groups." Children with heart or lung conditions should limit outdoor activity.
